Accredited certification of management systems among export companies – 2019

There were 19,677 export companies holding a certified management system under accreditation, with a value of exported goods equal to 238.9 billion euro and a workforce of about 2 million employees.

Certified exporting companies can be almost 50% more productive than non-certified ones, and have an average propensity to export 23% higher than that of non-certified ones.

This is what emerges from the statistical report realized by Istat in collaboration with Accredia, the national accreditation body which, following the Agreement signed in 2008, shared their respective databases, precisely to study the diffusion and effects of accredited certification among exporting companies.
