In compliance with the Prime Ministerial Decree of March 22, 2020, Accredia offices (Rome, Milan and Turin) are closed from March 23 to April 3. The activities continue regularly in smart working and all staff can be reached through ordinary contacts.

Accredia has also adopted a series of measures, as agreed with all the parties involved, with the aim of protecting the health of employees, collaborators and operators of accredited subjects and at the same time ensuring the continuity of the conformity assessment service, in interest of government authorities, production chains and citizens.
The Accreditation Body has therefore decided to place over 90% of the staff in a smart working mode and has taken measures, in compliance with the guidelines issued by the international bodies (ILAC, IAF and EA), addressed to accredited or being accredited subjects – certification, inspection and verification bodies, and testing and calibration laboratories.
Even in this delicate moment, Accredia continues to be a reference for over 1800 accredited subjects, including around 400 certification, inspection and verification bodies and 1400 testing and calibration laboratories. The system therefore continues to function, although in different ways, to guarantee citizens and over 140 thousand Italian companies that have chosen to certify their management system.
